For those of you with marine radio experience in the south Pacific who
may've worked Melbourne Radio VIM (at any time between 1912-2002) this
video clip might be nostalgic...

The BA link is probably the alarming spectacle of me trying to reef out
the rfpa of the 2kW AWA 400-500 kHz tx at 5'16" (white shirt, glasses)
to have a look at the 3 x 4CX1500 in parallel ( I was more successful on
a later visit when I had the sea-going beard see 7'01")

The Mayday relay calls at the beginning are real - recorded during a
particularly nasty Sydney-Hobart yacht race in January 1998.
