I have a question for the group.
I was given a EICO 720 transmitter that is a little the worse for wear, not really too bad but
some parts of the chassis looks nasty.
The chassis appears to be heavily copper plated and unfortunately has numerous spots that
are corroded. I want to remove the corrosion with out having to completely disassemble the
transmitter. I have used "Brasso" on the spots that are easily reached and it worked very well.
But for the spots that are burried under cumponents I need something else.
I have tried several different cleaners on test spots and every thing I have tried reacts with the
copper and leaves a stain that I have had to use "Brasso" to remove!
Does anyone have any suggestions?
