Rick-
The Beltron sockets that AES sells are the most rugged sockets I have seen
to datem I would replace you sockets with these, and then put in socket
savers as well, perhaps made with the beltron sockets.

Subject: [BOATANCHORS-TEMPE] Hickok Tube Tester

Hi All,

I have about 8 milk crates full of tubes to test and my 8 pin octal is
getting flaky. The 7 and 9 pin socket savers are getting flaky too.

I would like to replace the black 8-pin with under chassis ring mount and
the under chassis screw mount 7 and 9 pin sockets.

Any recommendations/sources for high quality sockets that can withstand a
lot of use?

Rick, N6PE
