Newark, Allied, etc carry what is still current. If you have the NSN or FSN
for the military parts there are cross-references that can get you to a
commercial equivalent, if it exists. Your best bet is to have a buddy in
the Army. Sometimes Fair Radio has them. Sometimes the Green Radio guys
hoard stuff. You might find stuff at the aircraft boneyard.
Some of those connectors are still in use in commercial aircraft. The old
Amphenol numbers were pretty descriptive and if you have them you can find
shells with the numbers and size pins you need. But as with any semi-custom
low rate of production item they will not be cheap.
That generation of FM Tactical radios was replaced roughly 30 years ago so
check with the oldest Signal guy you can find at the National Guard armory
in town.
