[Boatanchors] Bird Question

Hey Anchorites,

 

I have a question regarding the Bird "43" wattmeter. There is a peak reading
PCB that can be installed as an extra on the meter.

Is it all that important, or just for SSB purposes? Not that the cost is
prohibitive, but is it really worth it.

I've rcvd pro's and con's on this subject. Any input would be appreciated.
