[Boatanchors] Waste Not Want Not: Cloth Insulated Black Wire

Hello All,

I have two (2) wiring harnesses comprised of single-conductor cloth insulated wire. The color of the insulation is black with just enough dust to make you sneeze. They came from two old Hammond organs, so the wire is not necessarily historically accurate for radio repair/restoration - just so you know.

The overall length of each bunch is maybe 3 feet, but the wires themselves are of varying lengths. Both bunches are tied with waxy cord so they won't get too tangled in anything in their current form. Remove the binding cord and all bets are off. The cloth insulation is kinda waxy, but one bunch seems to be older than the other and the cloth may not be the strongest.

First come, first served but.....

You get to pay for postage and you get to make an in-kind donation to a legitimate charity or to someone who needs help. I think both harnesses will fit in a flat rate envelope, so let's say postage will be $6.00 (PayPal to w_b_morton at hotmail.com). Once you get the wire, figure out how much it's worth to you and donate that amount or more.

Best Regards,

William
