Here's an interesting one for your collection!

A Hallicrafters SX-104 for five bucks plus actual shipping cost.

It doesn't work.  It hums - that's about all.

It's a tunable/crystal controlled 30 - 50 MHz police, fire, and safety
service monitor.

Fix it, and it'll be a handy tool for telling when the 10 meter band might
be open.

Eight tubes, case style similar to the S-53, dates from about 1957.
