Yes, the TR3 covers only down to 80m. There is no band for 160m 
operation.

Doc, KD4E has sold his for $95.00 and I would sell my similar TR3 radio
for the same price if anyone else is interested. Great price for a fine piece of 
Drake 4-line technology.
