[Boatanchors] Hardware Needed

I second that! McMaster-Carr has amazing depth and variety of inventory.
Fortunately, they are local to me; if I place an on-line order by 5:00
PM, it will be on my doorstep the next morning. Amazing!

They also allow Will-Call pickup and I sometimes do that.

The do provide a massive catalog printed on onion skin paper, but it is
routinely available only to large volume customers. The on-line catalog
is always up to date but not so good for "thinking about."

If you live in the eastern Los Angeles area or in Orange County
(California), McFadden-Dale Industrial Hardware has open-stock (single
piece or box) on just about every kind of fastener and in every material
you can imagine. They don't have the extensive inventory of
McMaster-Carr but few folks I have brought there have failed to be
amazed at their open inventory. It is a very modern version of the
old-fashioned hardware store.
