[Boatanchors] [BoatAnchors] To sell, or not to sell, that is the question -- Follow up

Be honest now, have you EVER actually used any of those things, or anything
like them?
Do you know how to fix them, or know anyone who does?
How many hours of work do you think they are worth?
I've junked nearly all such stuff, partly because of space/age(mine)
factors, but a good scope does most of it anyway.
Breaking up is hard to do, but it feels great once done!
There's a test equipment traders group on yahoo, but someone would have to
really want them to pay the expensive freight rates now in effect.
Take 'em to the hamfest and mark them low. Don't let the buyers know where
you live...they might want to bring the junk back!
AND, I have an EXCELLENT RCA 710-A signal generator for sale cheap.
Unfortunately, it weighs about 30lb!

Follow up

I should have waited to write my previous note.

That's because the next item up for possible selling is an HP 8405A Vector
Voltmeter.

It's got two probes & can measure amplitude, amplitude ratio & phase over a
broad freq range of 1 MHz to 1 GHz, from 100 uV to 1 V. "2-channel tuned
sampling RF millivoltmeter-phase meter which simulaneously measures &
displays the voltage & phase of 2 signals.

Looks very complicated, all SS on separate circuit boards. I have the
complete manual.

Lights come on, some meter deflection with my fingers holding probes.

I'm just not sure what I'd do with it.
