Hi Michael,
Thanks for sharing the update on Noelle. We will be praying for you and your
family. 



Thank you, Steve.  Noelle is all I have as far as family goes and, in fact,
is all I have of any value.  

 

I’ve done a lot in my life – some I’m not real proud of, some the statutes
of limitations have run out on and some no one will ever get me drunk enough
to admit to – but out of all of that I got one thing right and that was
adopting Noelle.  She had been pulled out of an extremely abusive home and
put into foster care which is where I first saw her, a terrified little girl
not knowing what was going to happen next and dreading the numerous
possibilities.  She was put up for adoption almost immediately so I started
the paper work to adopt her as a single parent.  After two years of the most
intense background check I’ve ever gone through, which would have been
significantly worse had I not had friends in Vice, I was finally able to
bring her home.  That was in 1985 and we’ve been inseparable – at least
spiritually – ever since.
