Hi Bry, an interesting thought. But many of the Novice style rigs didn't
have phone, so they will not be on for that portion of CX. In any event, I
do have one or two "Novice" era rigs around so we'll see what happens! For
those who do have a Novice style rig with AM built in, I'd think 10 meters
offers the best range if it's open. I ran 10M AM phone in 1967/68 from
Guantanamo (KG4DF) with a Knight T-60 on 28.888, great fun. Dig out those
7.2XX crystals! It'd be nice to see this take off. Thanks for hosting it.

Excellent announcement. It looks like you are overlapping the Novice Rig
Round up. So stations will be able to get points for both contests!.
