Hello Wilson,

You are correct!  I was in error.

I had to use the 'breath test' and found a faint 'GC' on the label.  I should have known, of course, by the missing pin 1.  Pin 1 is present on EL34's since it is connected to Grid 3 (supressor) to allow an external connection.  Pin 6 is missing, too, but it is not connected on the EL34 either.
