[Boatanchors] Worth Adding a Q-Multiplier to an Elmac PMR-6A?

A Q-Multiplier is often recommended for a single-conversion
receiver but can it make enough of a difference in a dual-
conversion rx like the Elmac PMR-6A to be worth the cost
and time for mods?

Or might the PMR-6A be modded to add the extra feature(s)?
