[Boatanchors] Boatanchors on the air

The Classic Exchange (CX) phone section will be next Sunday (9/15) and the CW section will be the following Sunday (9/22).  A great time to hear real boat anchors on the air and work them.  This is a low key competition, actually, it is an on-air celebration of these good old rigs.  Details are at the CX web site CLASSIC EXCHANGE - CX - SEPTEMBER 2014.

While you are there be sure to browse the CX Newsletter from the January 2014 CX to get the flavor of the CX and enjoy some of the experiences of participants, such as who had the unusual rigs, most noteworthy (chirpy?) signal and the story of a receiver recovery "How The Fat Lady Got Her Voice Back."
