FS Authentic McElroy / TAC teardrop Stream Key in nice original condition.
This is a real one not a fake. The base is made from a heavy magnetic metal
. It is not a replica. The best way to tell a fake is to see if the base is
attracted by a magnet, if so, it is real Very nice condition for such a
vintage piece. Been in my collection over 40 years. This is one tear drop
shaped T.R. McElroy Stream Key but with the more common black crackle base.
The bulge in the lever arm at the contact may indicate that it was a TAC
key, made somewhat later by a McElroy consortium These Stream Keys are
sought after by collectors not just because of their age and craftsmanship
but also because of Ted McElroy's personality and accomplishments. Pictures
