R.M. Hadley started making transformers and chokes in 1929, eventually evolving into a specialized maker of superquality iron for aerospace/military applications.

I grew up playing with transformers and chokes, but had never been aware of Hadley until I found some in some vintage hardware I'm preparing to sell.
