B&W definitely made a model L-1000-A linear amplifier and it did have a pair of 813 tubes.

They also had the L-1001-A linear amplifier that used a pair of 813 tubes and was rated at 250-watts more output than the L-1000-A.  That amplifier was sold less the tubes, without a power supply, and was rack mounted.  I cannot find a schematic for this amplifier and it looks, physically, just like the L-1000-A!
