If the PTO uses nylon gears they do not need lubed. I have
had Drakes with solder rosin on the gears for some unknown reason. Gums
them up!
<br>Take alcohol and an acid brush and clean out the old grease from the
worm gear and ball bearings. Then adjust the tension on the ball bearings
by placing an allen wrench through the hole in the back of the PTO shield

<br> Relube the ball bearings and worm gear with grease.
