I work for a company that receives and ships via both UPS and FedX daily. In the past 15+ years we have never had a problem. However we use good packaging and receive from comercial shippers that do the same. I have had problems with packages received at home with items shipped by private parties. I think the problem is more with the shippers than with the shipping companies. If UPS and FexX were as bad as people on this list seem to say, I doubt that they would be still in business. Who would use them? Put the blame where it belongs, with the people doing the packing. I don't our 15+ years experience is just a fluke! 73 de Jerry, KØEJF E.J.(Jerry) Forwood -- FRED HOLNAGEL wrote: Re: Package smashers. Maybe I'm lucky but since 1999, I have shipped over 1500 packages to members of the reflector and E-bay to the world, no exceptions. I have never had a package contents damaged using UPS, Fed-Ex, or USPS. Maybe I'm packaging correctly? I have, however received goods packed loosely with crumpled newspaper, tubes left in sockets and dangling power cords scratching panels. I do not use packaging services! FWIW.
