Thanks for the suggestion.  Another person mentioned that to me off-line,
too, but that command is not available in 12.2(26).

  all        Clear all sessions
  derived    Clear cached PPPoE configuration information
  interface  Clear sessions on interface
  relay      PPPoE relay
  rmac       Clear sessions from particular client 

clear pppoe all
