[cisco-bba] Maximum PPPoE subscriber on 7200VXR-NPE-G1

Hi Alireza,

The largest limiting factor would be the processor and memory on the VXR.

A simple "show proc CPU" is the first indicator that I would be looking at.

sh proc cpu
CPU utilization for five seconds: 3%/0%; one minute: 3%; five minutes: 3%

The most important numbers in this example is the five seconds value 3%/0%

I have seen productions systems with values of 80% and system run fine.

Wow, I didn¹t think that was possible with only a npe-400, I have a 7204vxr
with a npe-g2 and it says around 16000 concurrent sessions, but you would
probably do about 8000 on it to be safe, not sure how shaping and hqf will
affect it.. I thought this list was dead J

Hi
Does anybody know how many concurrent PPPoE subscribers with Shaping and HQF
are supported on C7200VXR with NPE-G1? The IOS is
c7200-a3jk91s-mz.122-31.SB13.
