various VCs on an ADSL aggregator, however the local Telco is policing at VP
level. I am considering using Hierarchical VP shaping to match exactly what
the Telco is policing and thus provide an end to end traffic

level, so my total SCR is nearly 3 folds my line card. How does the scheduler
cope with such a demand ? My understanding is that when it comes to creating
time slots to service each cell from each VC within the VP, cells will collide
occasionally and will be dropped (depending which method is used to deal with
this scenario).<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>
