Yes, L2TP tunnel parameters are negotiated on tunnel creation. If you change the parameters they will have no affect until tunnel is re-created and negotiation happens again. This is similar to most connections that have a negotiation phase. Unless there is a method for dynamic re-negotiation in the middle of the connection, then the only way to get new parameters is forcibly (another example of this would be PPP sessions).<br>

The command "show vpdn" will show which LAC have a tunnel to your LNS. You can then remove the entire tunnel (and all PPP sessions within it) by using the command "clear vpdn tunnel l2tp <LAC>", where you replace <LAC> with the name of the LAC in question (which is given from the "show vpdn" command earlier).<br>
