I don't know about all the different Meridian options, but our
internal testing notes on interoperbility with a Meridian Option
11C indicates this:
- in DMS-custom, 4ESS-custom or 5ESS-custom mode, it can only be
user side, not network
- in National mode, it can be user or network
Since IOS does not support user side for primary-dms, primary-4ess
or primary-5ess, then you would need to select National (primary-ni)
to interoperate - configure one as network side and the other as
user side.
If your Meridian does not support National, then your best
fallback choice would probably be to set up an E&M winkstart
("E&M-FGB") T1.
