Try to configure your serial as this:

interface Serialx/x/x:15
 no ip address
 encapsulation ppp
 autodetect encapsulation ppp v120 lapb-ta
 no snmp trap link-status
 isdn switch-type XXXXX
 isdn protocol-emulate network <<< this is the line you need for emulation for back to back 
 isdn incoming-voice modem
 isdn negotiate-bchan resend-setup
 no isdn outgoing display-ie
 no cdp enable

Hi all,

I tried to connect 2 AS5350 back to back via E1 port (hdlc)

When I do a sh serial 3/0:0, it shows
Serial3/0:0 is down, line protocol is down
is it a clock issue?

clock configuration is available with AS5300 E1 controller, but not for the 
AS5350.

Any idea?
