Strange question here,

I'd like to maintain PPP timeouts based on LCP layer Echo rather than
relying on "ppp idle timeout" which seems to operate up in the IPCP.

I've done this with other vendor's kit before, but , for the life of me
I can't seem to find any documentation for doing this on cisco
virtual-template.

I'd like to be able to configure a timeout based on this.

Any assistance appreciated,

Kind Regards,
