Hi Friends, (excuse me for sending this to juniper as well as alcatel
list..)
I am taking a second chance to get help on this.
I am trying to configure my cisco 850 cpe via adsl as a dhcp client to
obtain address from the bras router.
What i see is , the DHCPDISCOVER from cpe reaches the bras, and the bras
replies back with the DHCPOFFER.
But DHCPOFFER is not being seen by cpe, though i see counters in incomming
atm0.1 interfaces going up, indicating that packets is very well reaching
the cpe, but not sure if its issue with bridging on cpe.

My setup is like this

 ciscoCPE 850 -------adsl------DSLAM-------bras router.

I do see input counters go up in atm0.1, but no input counters on bvi
interface. so suspecting a bridging issue.
