font-family:Arial'>We have 3640 routers with Mica digital modems (6-DM or
12-DM) for async. and GSM/V.110 dial-in. The GSM (V.110) dial-in works fine,
the router reporting connection speeds of 28800/28800 or 38400/38400. But the data
troughput with ftp or file-sharing is very poor (e.g. only 1000 – 1500
bit/s). Normal ISDN or V.34 connections to the same routers are ok, no problem
with the data troughput. GSM/HSCSD connection with the same moblies to an
ISP are also ok.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
