As far as the portware version goes ... 2.9.5.0 is the most<br>
recent (and I believe also probably the last) for MICA. 2.9.5.0<br>
would be generally recommended for all applications in all<br>
IOS versions - although if you are using an earlier version of<br>
portware and are happy with it, I wouldn't change it just for the sake <br>
of changing ...<br>

If you are not having any issues, I would stay with that
image. If you have the memory and want some of the newest
features, you could move up to 12.3(10a) also. It will
require that you have 128Megs.
The 12.3 Mainline is the last IOS image for the AS5300.
They are an End of Life product. They have not been
sold for almost 4 years.
