[nsp] enable password recover

Hi all,
  I have got a cisco 6509 catalyst switch in my office .
  I have lost the enable password of this machine .

Is there any way of recovering it WITHOUT RESTARTING this
switch.(the procedure on cisco site requires restarting the
switch).This switch is very crucial to network & cannot be
restarted.
  I got hold of a C code for decrypting cisco enable password but 
i dont know the procedure of getting runnnig-config of the switch 
through SNMP.

Kindly help in knowing this procedure or suggest some 
documentation on the same.
