[nsp] Cisco GBICs

Functionally they are all identical. Which manufacturer each BU decides
to use is up to the line of business so they can be different actual
products. There are few exceptions where a GBIC for one platform
doesn't work correctly in another (though since they aren't tested that
way RF compliance, and Cisco's happiness might be a different story).

Presence of a GBIC should not modify whether the router thinks it has a
interface or not. You might be having a problem with the interaction
between the port adapter and the VIP that make up the GEIP. You might
want to make sure everything is seated correctly on the card, especially
around the port adapter.

Are the following GBICs part numbers all the same product?

GBIC-SX-MM	- Cisco 12000
GBIC-SX - Cisco 7200/7500
WS-G5484	- Cisco Catalyst

I'm having a problem where a GEIP interface on a 7513/RSP/12.0(19)S2
router is found, but no interface is created. The "show ver" output
reports two
GigE controllers, but only one GigE interface. The "show diag <slot>=20
output for the GEIP looks normal. I want to make sure I have the proper
SX
GBIC installed.

Thanks.
