the problem with directory listing in the /crypto tree still exists:
ftp> pwd
257 "/cisco/crypto/3DES/ios/12.2" is current directory
ftp> dir
200 PORT: Command successful
550 Permission denied: LIST not allowed here
it's mainly a nuisance if you know exactly what to look for, but if you're
not sure whether a given IOS release exists for a given hardware platform,
it's a big PITA.
Using the WWW download thingie is just too time consuming for every single
new download due to yet-another-bug.
