[nsp] MHSRP on 2600 and 3600

Hey,

I know that the 2600 and 3600 series routers have ethernet
interfaces that can't have more than one MAC address assigned to
them, thus they can't perform the classical MHSRP.

I've heard and read about this burnt-in address command, but I'm
wondering if that would work very well or if any of you have ever
used this on those types of routers to do MHSRP.

Long story short, I have remote sites that have 2 T1 circuits per
site and I wanted to provide some redundancy on the router level so
that one router failure doesn't potentially take out the remote site
entirely. However, it seems that on 'remote site' worthy routers
MHSRP isn't an option.

For those not familiar with this setup, there is a document about
it here:

   http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/619/7.html

Any alternatives to this stuff with 2600 and 3600 routers ( most
my remote sites are 2621s, but two sites have 3640s ) other than
just having a cold-spare waiting and ready to replace a failed piece
of hardware?

TIA,

.z
