Cisco has NatKit with NSA support. The version I dealt with two years ago kept only three versions of changes.
CiscoWorks is said to have such a funtion but I have never used it for that purpose.
I am currently using RANCID on a Solaris machine and it works wonders.

Subject: [nsp] Router configuration tracking tool
Hello,
Does anyone know if cisco has developed some software
for router configuration tracking & cfg version
control.
What tool can be used for such a purpose
I wonder how this could be done - using tacacs logs or
snmp?
Pete
