Cute, isn't it ;).  It's a bug - CSCdx57239 "Invalid RPR switchover
description".  We experienced that in 12.0(22)S1 with an npe400.

In our case, the reason for reload was actually attributed to a parity error;
this log message was the telltale:

%ERR-1-GT64120 (PCI-0): Fatal error, Memory parity error (external)
