Depending on the IOS versions, you can do 6-8 T1's with CEF per-packet or 
per-destination load sharing.  That's what we do in most cases.  I've had 
problems several times (never quite succeeded) getting MLPPP to work at 
all in 12.1(5)T with PPP on T1's or in another case with PPP over Frame.
