Thanks for the timeline. How comes that I'm not surprised...?
(On a similar topic: has anyone seen SFP SX GBICs so far? All resellers
over here respond with "we can't ship any, there have been major reliability
problems with those that we shipped, and we're waiting for news from our
vendors...")
<rant>What a stupid and obviously marketing-driven idea, replacement of
nicely established GBIC interfaces, and replacement with something new
that's mostly just annyoing customers (but according to vendor-logic
increasing Cisco sales) - there's enough room on the 3750s to put
normal GBICs there</rant>
