Hello all,

I am looking for general suggestions/comments in regards to equipping a
small dial-up service. It will have about 20,000 accounts. I am figuring
about a 15 to 1 oversubscription on bandwidth. While there are 20,000 users,
these are free dial-up accounts that are in a package for voice service, so
I am not sure how many will ever be in use concurrently. Is there a general,
rough rule of thumb that people go by when setting capacity?

None-the-less, they may be working and I was considering the Cisco 5850 as
the platform to support this. Is anybody willing to share their experiences
with the 5850 in regards to dial-up? Any other platforms that would make
sense/warrant a look at?

TIA,

Jim
