Subject: 7204 Performance problem

Hi!

I´m having a performance problem with a Router 7204-VXR (NPE-400). It´s working as an LNS with 2 l2tp tunnels. Currently it has 350 sessions, 24 Mbps of tunneled traffic (ADSL users). The fact is that the CPU load is 40 % and I think it´s too much. Cisco has tested the NPE-400 and it should support 8000 sessions (64 bytes packets) but I will not reach 1000.
I have checked and udp compression is disabled. CEF is enabled, but I still see 1000 entries in the route cache table. I would appreciate any suggestion.
Thank you very much!!

M.
