[nsp] Fabric-enabled module in Cat6500 without SFM?

Morning!

Just a short question: Will a fabric-enabled module (in my case a
WS-X6548-GE-TX) work in a Catalyst 6500 without SFM and with Sup-1A
installed?  Or in a Catalyst 6000? The documentation implies that it should
work, but I want to double check. Thanks.
