Basically, take your installed RAM, subtract the uncompressed size of the
IOS image, and that's how much RAM you'll have available for IOS to use.
If that's not more than the IOS recommended minimum, try it first "in the
lab" rather than in the field. Even if it does meet the minimum, you
could end up running out of memory if you have too many routes (large
number of OSPF routes for instance).
