I'm running the Linux VPN client with DES. When I connect and run "vpnclient stat", it reports: Cisco Systems VPN Client Version 4.0 (Rel) [more output snipped] Encryption: 56-bit DES I didn't do anything special to bring it up. To connect I just have a window manager menu item that execs "vpnclient connect profilename" or run that manually. Troy
