It depends more on the type of linecards you have in the chassis,
including inline power requirements than the Sup720s alone.  The
Sup720's require minimal Amp's as compared to other linecards such as
48x10/100 inline power Ethernet linecards.

With dual Sup720's and non-inline power linecards, you should be in good
shape.  However, you may want to confirm your exact configuration with

After reading previous posts about the Sup720, I was wondering if the
required 2500W power supplies need to be configured to run in tandem
(5000W) to run the box, or can they be in a redundant configuration (if
you lose a power supply, all the 6509's line cards stay powered).
