And while we're at it, 7200s can only be upgraded to 256mb if they
have an NPE-225 or higher. NPE-225 and down can be used in non-VXR
7200s; NPE-200 and up can be used in VXRs. Given that the NPE-225 is
the only processor that works in a non-VXR 7200 and goes beyond 128m,
the odds that a randomly-selected non-VXR 7200 can go to 256m are
fairly slim.
Some network processing engines can go beyond 256m (NPE-400, NPE-G1).
These cards can only be used in the VXR.
