Take a look at this link... It has all sort of info for upgrading to
Native. I'm working today on our upgrade to native. Let me know if I
can be of any help.

Subject: [nsp] cat6509 IOS or CatOS ?

Hi,

I'm looking for the best OS for cat6509 switches; does anyone have any
expirience ? Should I use IOS or CatOS and which Version ? How much
Flash do I need 16MB or 24MB ?

The Switches are loaded with two sup1a moduels, some rj-21 and
48x10/100, aswell some GBICs

For the Moment we wanna do Switching with VLAN (VTP), dot1q-Trunks,
SPAN, some Security (Port, CAM). We have also a Layer3 Module for these
Switches and in Future we want to use it (without changing the OS).

Any Infos for me ? :-)

Kind Regards
-Lukas
