I'm wondering how one should decipher the following command output:
GigabitEthernet0/4 is up, line protocol is up
Hardware is Gigabit Ethernet, address is 000b.5f7a.0b84 (bia
000b.5f7a.0b84)
Description: RTR1
MTU 1530 bytes, BW 1000000 Kbit, DLY 10 usec,
reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255
Encapsulation ARPA, loopback not set
Keepalive set (10 sec)
Full-duplex mode, link type is force-up, media type is SX
output flow-control is unsupported, input flow-control is unsupported,
1000Mb/s
input flow-control is on, output flow-control is on
send/receive flow control is enabled on this port. What is the
"flow-control is unsupported" stuff about? Is the second line the
negotiated parameters?
Thanks!
