[nsp] puck behaving badly

        so, last night around 3:40a EST, puck went down.  I was
asleep at the time and didn't notice until i woke up.  (for
some reason my monitoring system is set to e-mail me when
it goes down instead of page.. hmm.. guess whats wrong with that ..)

        if your message has not reached the list as of yet, it won't.

        i've flushed all of the 'stuck' outbound messages.
