[nsp] How to remove the config of a removed 6500 line card?

Not sure if this applies to you but the following is a response from cisco for a similar issue we had with a 6500/7600 running in native 12.1(13)E3.
"You have to save the config to the startup and reload in order to get rid of the interfaces. Interfaces on OIR removed cards are kept in the running configuration to ensure configuration synchronization in redundancy configuration. Details for why it's the expected behavior can be found in CSCdw76572. Basically, this is done on C6k/OSR because configuration for OIRed modules and switch port/no switch port changes are maintained. And we need to keep the two features while achieving config sync for HA."
