[nsp] etherchannel to compaq servers

has anyone configured a 3500 or similar with MAC based
load balancing to compaq servers (using their teaming
drivers).

i've been having some strange performance problems to
where it seems there is some major corruption that causes
windows to cease functioning.

interfaces are 100/full with portfast set to trunk.

side question about clustering, which 6 are in this config:
do they need to be all at the same ios ver?  its currently
a mix of 12.0(5.2)XU and 12.1(11)EA1.
